Jobs for Florida's Graduates Partnership

St. Gerard Campus is proud to announce that we are the first school in St. Johns County to partner with the Jobs for Florida's Graduate (JFG) program. JFG served nearly 1,500 promising students in middleschools, high schools, and community based organizations in statewide programs. The JFG program is rooted in four factors of success: rigor, relevance, relationships and recognition.

JFG, an affiliate of Jobs for America's Graduates, Inc. (JAG), operates a highly successful national program guided by the JAG curriculum, which consists of 85 competency-based modules. The core competencies are contained in the six (6) competency categories: Career Development, Job Attainment, Job Survival, Basic Skills, Leadership and Self Development Skills, and Personal Growth. The three (3) non-core competency categories include: Life Survival Skills, Workplace Survival Skills, and Economic Empowerment.

The JFG is a comprehensive program for high school students that prepares youth for the workforce. In partnership with schools and employers, JFG raises student aspirations; teaches teamwork and leadership; and instills workplace values while helping young people successfully transition through and beyond high school.

We are excited to be a part of this ground breaking program in St. Johns County, ensuring our
students the opportunity to succeed and create a better future for them and their children.
