St. Gerard Campus Thrift Store
Thanks to a very kind “angel” who wishes to remain anonymous, the St. Gerard Campus Thrift Store is now open. This very special “angel” not only found the ideal location, but paid the rent for the first six months. A special thank you and God Bless to this wonderful lady and her generous heart. We have stocked the store with wonderful merchandise for men, women, children and babies. There are toys, baby items and household items. Everything is specially priced. Not only will you pick up the best buys in town but you will also be supporting a great cause, St. Gerard Campus High School and Day Care facility. All proceeds will go directly to our mission.
Come on down to 1333 #3 Old Dixie Highway in St. Augustine and meet our great volunteer staff. Open Tuesday-Friday, 10 am - 6 pm.
Florida License Plates
If you are renewing your vehicle tags, please remember that purchasing a "Choose Life" tag for your vehicle will bring St. Gerard Campus extra funds and show your support for our cause – PROLIFE. The plates are a bright yellow with very cute smiling children's faces depicted. See them at the Motor Vehicle Office.
Benefactors
Our wish for a new computer lab has now become a reality. Our students are busy studying Computer Applications, where they are learning word processing, such as, Word, Excel and Power Point, to further advance their marketability in the job market. This never would have been possible without their support from TD Bank and the Ward Family Foundation and belief in our mission. A special thank you also goes out to Scott Graddy of Augustine Computer Services in St. Augustine for the countless hours he devoted to installing and upgrading our telephone system and computers throughout our facility at no cost to St. Gerard.
In addition, we have been blessed this year with a very generous grant from the Neviaser Charitable Foundation. They have bestowed upon us $35,000 a year for 5 years. These funds are earmarked for our talented and professional teaching staff. Thank you to Neviaser for believing in us.
