“Why I want to further my Education?”
Education is very important to me you can’t get very far in life without one. The reason I want to further my education is because I want to one day have a good career that I enjoy, provide for my child and myself, show pregnant teens that they can do it!
When a young girl finds out that she is pregnant, it is devastating. All sorts of negativity run through your head, and maybe even your loved ones feel the same way too. But you have to realize that this mistake can be turned around for good, there is always hope. In the Bible it says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Don’t let people tell you that you can’t go far in life because you have a child, that’s not true. Going to college maybe more challenging while raising my son, Emanuel, but I know I can do it.
As a student, I have always been very diligent and conscientious in my studies. I enjoy learning and have maintained an A average in high school. After graduating from high school this June, I plan to go on to college and get at least two-year degree in something I enjoy, possibly a scientific field such as lab technology or meteorology, since science is one of my strong subjects. As I took American Government this school year, I realized that political science and history interest me and maybe I will go back to school to study law, if that is what GOD wants me to do.
I am so thankful for this school and all that they do for us and that I’m able to graduate a year early. The teachers really care about their students and help us reach our goals. I wish that every young mother had a “St. Gerard Campus” to go to school; we are very fortunate.

FALL 2005

Caroline Wolff and the staff are proud to announce the accomplishments of
St. Gerard Campus

Dear Friends,
WELCOME THE CHILD! This is our Christmas theme; we have our biggest event to raise money at Christmas because we want to focus on the Child. Everyone needs to take a small role to save the unborn. We need your prayers, donations and volunteering. The children and the mothers need love and support.
A day at the St. Gerard Campus begins at 5:00am for me. I am also an unpaid Director because we need every cent for the babies. Drivers leave to pick up mothers and babies at 7:15am, school begins at 8:45am. Students are also driven to and from appointments at Children & Families, WIC, prenatal, post-natal, baby shots, colds and other medical needs. Meantime teachers are teaching class, the Day Care is also open, and the phone is ringing off the hook. We have 4 lines and 2 cell phones on 24hours.
We are praying for two babies who are in the hospital in critical condition. One little one was released from Baptist Hospital too soon. One of our nurses noticed the baby had breathing problem. Thank GOD our staff noticed this little baby. Grandma & mommy are very grateful. This little one had only one hour left to live. We are keeping everyone in our prayers. The SGC is feeding hundreds of emergency food a year. We have so many families including their children in need of money for rent and food. Most of them do not qualify for food stamps.
GOD bless the mothers who are working so hard to get a good education. Our dorm is filled and we are doing at least 3 referrals a day to other locations. Forty students are registered in school. Actually, the teens are not the ones that we are having a difficult time keeping up with their needs. Our problem is 20 years old and older, teaching these age group to make good choices on life styles and to earn a decent living before marriage or conception is difficult at best. Yet, I have not found a woman who wants an abortion. It is always a pressure from boyfriend, parent or husband. Abandonment is the frequent threat even with large families. That is where we need to help the mother and baby.
We have rescued 46,000 babies. Which if you double this is 92,000 mothers and babies.
Success is an inspiration from GOD. Only by that do we continue. You are the hands, feet and the cement of the program GOD Bless You
